Narrative

Rodger the little mushroom man. He lives on top of a hill in the canyon valley village in his mushroom house. One day Rodger is in his house working on his plant garden during a heavy rainstorm. Watering one by one and tending to the plants that need some love. After some time passes and the rain subsides, Rodger decides to put his rain boots on and go for a walk. He walks down the hill further into canyon valley, he sees large puddles filled up in the walkway. Of course, he jumps over them to avoid getting his legs wet. As keeps walking, he sees the village has been flooded, only the tops of mushrooms houses showing. Rodger being the prepared mushroom that he is, he scurries back up to his house and grabs the wooden boat he hand-built when he got bored a few months prior. Once he gets his boat at the tip of the hill, he pushes and hops in. He slides down the hill and lands in the flood. He begins paddling through the water, calling out to see if any of his mushroom friends need help. After he passes a few houses, he begins to see other mushrooms on top of their houses, awaiting help. He gets to them and instructs them to hop in. He picks up more mushrooms but only a couple at a time that can fill his boat. He makes his way back to land and then to houses helping his fellow mushroom people. He has helped everyone in the canyon valley village so they help him push his boat back to his house. He invites them inside for warmth and good food. They all thanked him for his generosity and helping them escape the flood.
